We’re proud of you Chern’ee Sutton and delighted to have another of your superb artworks on our cover. The Contemporary Indigenous artist of Bundaberg continues to set the world on fire with her passionate drive to inspire.
She designed the Indigenous markings for Borobi, the 2018 Commonwealth Games Mascot, her reconciliation painting of a united Australia is part of Buckingham Palace’s Royal Collection, she created works for the Rugby League World Cup, Tennis Australia; with paintings hanging in Queensland’s Parliament House.
Chern’ee was recently invited by FIFA to help design its official branding for the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
Chern’ee’s works are sold through Aboriginal Art Galleries in Sydney.
