The Bundy Book

The Bundy Book was first published 26 years ago. It is a glossy full colour easy to read magazine which is updated every 6 months.

Outlining all our attractions, beaches, Great Barrier Reef, Turtles Timeline. All the things for our visitors to see and enjoy in our city, coast and region.

It is available FREE at over 100 pick up points in the Bundaberg region and in Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Childers, Gin Gin and Agnes Water/Town of 1770. There is also a Bundy Book App which is available from the App. Store. We have the pages for the mid year edition here.

The Bundy Book is published in March and late September.

The next Bundy Book- the summertime edition is planned for September 2021. Bookings are now open for this popular magazine for visitors to the region. Email ads@coastlinenews.com.au or phone 07 41531133. If you wish to advertise contact us early as this is a very popular magazine.

Bundaberg’s news publication for homes and farms.

The Bundy Year Book and The Bundy Local Book are similar in design to the Bundy Book, A4 in size, printed on gloss paper with full colour. Both publications are delivered to homes in Bundaberg and they are also delivered to mailboxes on farms in the area by Australia Post. Leading Bundaberg Newsagents including Chippies and Winners Nest in Bourbong Street, Golden Arrow in Woongarra Street and Chippies at Sugarland were pick up points for this edition.

The local editions feature stories and pictures of interest to Bundaberg Region residents. There are features on new buildings, farms, education, health and neighbouring areas. The Bundy Year Book which has a yearly calendar, school holidays and events for the year is delivered free in the second last week of January. Watch for the Bundy Local Year Book home and farm delivered in January 2022.

Famous Author Lives In Bundaberg Born in Adelaide, Bundaberg author Kerry McGinnis was 12 when she started droving with her father and four siblings. They travelled in the Northern Territory and Queensland before settling on a Gulf Country station. She has had an amazing upbringing and it was a medical condition that led to her writing novels. Kerry started writing at nine years of age in the Picaninny Pages in the old Woman’s Mirror. Her first book was Pieces of Blue an autobiography about her childhood form aged 6 to 16. She lived in the bush from 12 to 60 years and that gave her the idea to write outback mystery stories. Would you like to win a personally autographed copy of her latest book Missing Girl from Penguin Random House. We have copies to give away and they will be posted anywhere in Australia.
