Avoca Man Charged With 18 Offences

Detectives from the Kingaroy Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have arrested a 29-year-old Avoca man and charged him with 18 offences in relation to recent rural property incidents and other matters.
The offences were alleged to have occurred between May 23 and May 27 in areas including Gooburrum, Sharon, Burnett Heads, Murgon, Kingaroy, Gin Gin, Wyalla and Booie.
Police will allege that the man stole items including firearms, a vehicle and committed further offences including evade police, drive without driver's licence, dangerous operation of a vehicle, wilful damage, break and enter and possess dangerous drugs.
The 29-year old Avoca man is set to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on July 12.
