Our own region abounds with superb beaches…for surfing, swimming, snorkeling, diving, some
with beautifully expansive shores for long beach walks…something for everyone.
We asked our readers, locals and visitors to nominate their favourite beach in the Bundy
area from this list: Agnes Water, Moore Park Beach, Oaks Beach, Mon Repos, Neilson Park, Kellys Beach, Elliott Heads,
Woodgate.
All entries were placed in a draw to win a wonderful prize- fly to Lady Elliot Island for
the day from Bundaberg PLUS 2 nights accommodation for two at The Point Resort on the beachfront at
Bargara, walking distance to Club Bargara Golf Club and The Basin, Kellys Beach.
Our Number One Beach
Our readers voted Elliott Heads their favourite beach
Their second favourite is Woodgate Beach and third is Kelly’s Beach at Bargara.
A draw was held from all the entries and the winner is Robyn Redknap of Buderim. Congratulations to Robyn and thanks to all
who took part in our Best Beaches of Bundy.
