New museum with old vans

The caravan has come a long way from its humble beginnings of a horse drawn wooden cart cloaked in a doped canvas cover.

Ben Searle has been collecting caravans over the last four years and has a caravan museum at Searleā€™s RV Centre.

His line-up includes the 1972 VW Kombi, a Grace Muir van which was built in Bundaberg in 1962, a Sunliner, an original Franklin built by Roma Caravans in 1961 and many more. If you are interested in caravanning take a look at this museum at Searles at 23 Phoebe Crescent Bundaberg and its free.
